Sree Narayana Guru (1856–1928) was one of Kerala’s most respected spiritual teachers, philosophers and social reformers. He dedicated his life to promoting equality, education, spiritual understanding and social harmony at a time when Kerala society was deeply divided by caste and social inequalities. Born in Chempazhanthy near Thiruvananthapuram, Guru became known for his spiritual teachings and his efforts to challenge discrimination.
